*Some categories may qualify for exceptions.

• Attend as a Guest First. Prospective members must attend two meetings as a visitor BEFORE submitting an application.
• Submit an Application. After your second meeting, please complete an application and submit a $100 non-refundable application fee here for our Board to review.
• Vetting Process. The Board will then begin the application & reference process and contact the member once it is complete.
• Presentation for Membership. Once the Board has reviewed the application and checked all references, the Membership Director will coordinate with the applicant to schedule a presentation of their business at a future meeting.
• Voting Process. After the applicant’s presentation, a digital voting link will be sent to the general membership, and a majority yes will result in the applicant being accepted into the RI Wedding Group. 

As an RIWG member, you're expected to:

• Attend Meetings: Meetings are held on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month, from 9:30–11:00 AM, at rotating locations. Networking begins at 9:15 AM.
• Build Relationships & Share Referrals: Get to know fellow members, recommend their services when appropriate, and follow up on referrals in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the Community: Participate in networking opportunities, venue visits, social events, and committee initiatives. Members are also encouraged to introduce qualified prospective members.
• Uphold Professional Standards: Conduct business with integrity, maintain appropriate insurance, and adhere to our Code of Ethics and bylaws.
