The Rhode Island Wedding Group is a thoughtfully curated network of trusted wedding venues and vendors dedicated to building meaningful relationships, elevating the wedding industry, and connecting couples with exceptional professionals.
If you're passionate about your craft and believe in collaboration over competition, we'd love to meet you.
Before applying, we invite you to attend at least two RIWG meetings as our guest. It's the best way to meet our members, experience the group firsthand, and determine if RIWG is the right fit for you and your business.

Application Process
- A prospective member may attend two meetings as a visitor. Please connect with our Membership Director upon your visits. After your second meeting, we ask that you complete an application and submit a $100 application fee (payable by cash or check to RI Wedding Group), which our Board will review.
- The Board will then begin the review process and contact the member once that process is completed.
- Once the application has been reviewed and all references have been checked, the applicant will be scheduled to present their business to the general membership at the next meeting.
- After the applicant’s presentation, an anonymous vote will be conducted by the general membership, and a majority yes will result in the applicant being accepted into the RI Wedding Group. We look forward to meeting you soon!
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for membership, applicants should:
✔ Attend at least two RIWG meetings before applying
✔ Have at least three years of experience in their wedding specialty*
(*Some categories may qualify for exceptions.)
✔ Operate as a full-time wedding professional*
(*Some categories may qualify for exceptions.)
✔ Be properly licensed and insured, where applicable
✔ Serve couples throughout Rhode Island and Southern New England
✔ Agree to uphold the RIWG Code of Ethics
